If you're feeling fancy, you can arrive in style (not to mention, skipping the traffic/stress of the train or Jitney) via Blade.

Whether you're at Gurney's for a cozy winter getaway or a fun summer weekend, you will feel cool yet calm. Although it may be the Hamptons spot to chill in, the property manages its public spaces very well and creates an intimate setting for all of the guests.

All of the room types are either Ocean Front or Ocean Viewing. You will definitely feel as though you are in The Hamptons when you enter the rooms. The rooms exude stylish beach vibes with their crisp white bedding, dark chocolate-hued wooded furniture, and gravy and gray accents throughout.

One of our favorite room categories is the Deluxe Ocean Front King. You get floor to ceiling views of the beach. It is spacious and comfortable with the king sized bed and the queen sofa. The best part however, is the private terrace and day bed. This gives you ultimate privilege access to the beach and to uninterrupted tanning. The highlight of my stay was enjoying a gorgeous, orange sunrise from the private terrace while wearing the delicious bathrobe.

World-class well-being.

Gurneys has an excellent indoor pool. The gym has ample weights and machinery for a good workout. Not to mention that they offer professionally led workout classes such as Pilates and Boot Camp. The best part is that over the summer, they partner with some of the hottest NYC fitness studios for classes.

They have a world-class sea water spa equipped with a Roman bath, Finnish rock sauna, Russian steam room, and Swiss shower. Their world-famous indoor, ocean-fed seawater pool with panoramic views of the Atlantic is also not to be missed—it’s the only pool of its kind in North America.

Something for every craving.

Gurney's has some wonderful dining options. There is something for everyone. For those who are craving delicious Italian fare in an elegant setting, look no further than Scarpetta Beach. For contemporary American dishes with a view of the ocean, Tillie's is great. Talk about breakfast with a view. If you are relaxing by the water and do not want to move, you may opt to order something delicious at the Beach Club. There is also the very convenient Corso Coffee for a quick pastry or an energizing smoothie. Lastly, Regent Cocktail Club is great for cocktails and mingling.

Regent Cocktail Club is great for socializing while the bar at Scarpetta Beach is the place to order an aperitif or a delicious Mezcal Negroni before your meal.
Who's it for?

It is a family friendly-hotel as many of their room categories are perfect for accommodating families. The indoor pool is a great place for kids with a lifeguard on duty at all times. The Residences and Three Bedroom Cottages in particular are excellent for larger families; it feels like you have your own Hamptons home. At the same time, it's the ultimate romantic retreat.

Set 2 miles from Hither Hills State Park, this modern, oceanfront resort is also 4 miles from Montauk station.
