Raised in the cultural melting pot that is Miami, Daniela thrives in destinations with eclectic hotel and restaurant scenes.

After studying Hospitality at Boston University and working in hotels, restaurants, and event planning, Daniela developed a taste for creating memorable experiences for others. But it was while studying and interning in Paris that she discovered her passion for travel planning, a path she pursued immediately upon graduation and has been dedicated to for the last eight years. Now splitting her time between Miami and Manhattan, Daniela has easy access to gateways across both South America and Europe where many of the destinations she specializes in are located.

Spain remains a classic favorite in Europe, and Colombia holds a special place as one of Daniela’s top revisited destinations due to her family roots there. Kyoto, Japan, in particular, stands out as Daniela’s favorite city, as well as many other destinations in Asia. With each trip, she discovers new hot spots which she passes on through personalized recommendations tailored to her clients.

When she is not traveling, Daniela loves staying active, going to concerts, and trying out the hottest restaurants. From South Beach to the West Village to far-flung cities halfway across the world, Daniela is perpetually on the lookout for the most unique cultural experience, whether it be found in a swanky hotel or hole-in-the-wall.

What is your most memorable travel experience?

Definitely five blissful days in Raja Ampat on Rascal Voyages, Indonesia on a luxury, five-cabin boat. There was no wi-fi or cell service but I saw the most amazing underwater life and the most gorgeous landscape I had ever seen. I saw clams the size of my dining room table and colors that I didn’t even know existed underwater!

What does your perfect vacation day look like?

Anything that revolves around food! Whether it is eating my way around a city or taking an authentic cooking class with a local family. Culinary experiences are one of the main motivators on my mind when I choose my next destination.

Travel Tip

  • This one is for the over-packers. You’d be surprised to know that you can actually use a carry-on for a two-week trip. I promise! Layering, mixing and matching are your best friends. Your hotels have laundry, and no one will notice that you are outfit repeating. Carry-on is life!
