Maria Paradisis is passionate about travel.

During her ongoing quest to find ‘paradise’ on Earth, Maria offers a glimpse into her many discoveries – think pristine beaches, first-class cabins and plush hotel suites – via her Instagram account, @whereintheworldisparadise.

Prior to making travel her focus, Maria worked in the media industry for several years – including roles as personal assistant to the editors of Australian marie claire and Vogue – where she developed a love of photography and an eye for style while thriving in a fast-paced and high-pressure working environment. Maria found working in fashion media the perfect complement to her love of stunning and exotic locations, helping hone her expertise in creative production.

Maria assists in travel for Fashion Week and notable photo shoots. She has teamed up with Vogue Australia to produce editorial shoots with Nicole Kidman in Nashville, Lily Donaldson in Brazil, fashion photographer Mario Testino in Sydney featuring Lara Stone, and HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark in Copenhagen.

Vogue Living toured around Italy care of Maria’s travel expertise for their Italian-themed collector’s issue – guest edited by Collette Dinnigan – for which Maria joined the team on set in Rome for a shoot at the home of Fendi CEO Pietro Beccari and his wife, Elisabetta.

In addition to location scouting and shoot logistics, Maria also offers her services as a luxury concierge, recently assisting fashion maven and founder of digital company Buro 24/7, Miroslava Duma. Cited as a “force of the fashion industry” by the Financial Times, Miroslava entrusted Maria with managing a demanding work schedule, planning personal and business appointments, travel and liaising with high profile personalities on her behalf.

Maria collaborates on some truly extraordinary holidays and honeymoons for a wide range of travellers including fashion editors, creative directors, hospitality professionals and designers and is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for her clients.

Travellers are looking to alternatives from a traditional agent, preferring to create an itinerary with someone who is well travelled, passionate, accessible and full of great advice and recommendations. They want the room with the best view, to skip the queue and have a truly authentic experience wherever they go.

Not only is Maria obsessed with travel herself, she wants to help others plan their own adventures. Email Maria for assistance in creating your holiday.

Maria saves us every time. There is no travel situation she can't handle. She remains incredibly pleasant and unflappable no matter how strange or complicated the request may be. We absolutely could not have pulled off our Mario Testino guest-edited issue without her. She has been an essential part of the team in helping us produce cover shoots with everyone from Nicole Kidman to HRH The Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. We simply could not do it without her. -Rikki Keene, Photography and Casting Director at Vogue Australia

Maria managed my demanding work schedule in a professional and friendly manner. This included coordinating meetings with many participants in various time zones and organizing my travel arrangements. I completely trusted her to represent me while dealing with high profile personalities.-Miroslava (Mira) Duma; CEO and Founder of Fashion Tech Lab (FTL), Co-founder Buro 24/7 and The Tot

Working with Maria on a large scale project for Vogue Australia and acclaimed photographer Mario Testino, I had mentioned to my colleagues that I had never worked with anyone SO amazing. Maria’s attention to detail and thorough understanding of the needs of the client + the whole international travelling crew were second to none. To say the experience was a pleasure is an understatement. Maria was like an actual dream… that I could not believe she was real. -Belinda Foord, Director at Shiny Projects
