Understated "chill" luxury
Rooms are cozy, yet light and airy, offering incredible comfort and detailed thought to the flow and functionality of the room (i.e. heated bathroom tiles, mirrored indoor/outdoor fireplace, spectacular turn-down service).
No gym which does not detract due to the numerous activities in surrounding area. Yes - pool, which is the focal point of the property. Cabanas expected for the season which should further enhance the appeal of sitting poolside.
Spa offers a sense of place and relaxation which is further magnified by the thoughtful design that incorporates a restored horse stable. Kudos to the spa design!
Michelin Star: Farmhouse Inn Restaurant. The cuisine is All-American farm-to-table that is approachable in taste, execution, and presentation. The setting is a throw-back Farmhouse vintage and service is to match: Non-pretentious and comfortable.
Hotel is kid-friendly, however, it's less about structured programs and more about curated programs specific to the region, season, and child's interest.
A property is no better served than when the heart and soul of a family are poured into all aspects - especially when they maintain a discerning approach and continuously welcome feedback. The measure of their success is only intensified by the tenured and seasoned staff on property; from the sales team to the restaurant staff. Farmhouse Inn has captured a niche within the Napa/Sonoma wine lands which should be highly considered when planning a trip to this region.
