A bold cruising adventure with multi-layers of entertainment, dining and activities to delight the first time cruiser to multi-generational families. The entry level passengers to the luxury cruiser, Harmony of the Seas, has 7 neighborhoods to explore. The ship IS the destination to enhance the destination ports. An emphasis of the new technologies are incorporated into the entertainment choices as well as navigating its vast size.
With 43 different cabin configurations, there are choices for every type of cruiser including virtual interior balconies, Central Park balcony cabins, 2 storied Loft suites and Aqua Theater suites with expansive verandas for entertaining, dining and sunbathing. Accessible cabins, adjoining and connecting cabins are plentiful. Royal’s Suite Class cabins, Star, Sky and Sea offer extra amenities, on board “Genie” service and the Coastal Kitchen private dining restaurant and private sun bathing deck.
Four swimming pools are just the beginning with 10 hot tubs including 2 cavaliering over the sides of the ship. SplashAway Bay is a kids paradise, and the FlowRider and the Perfect Storm Waterslides keep the wet fun going. The Fitness area is the largest at sea and has fitness, cardio, resistance training, spinning classes, beach boot camp and a suspension area for aerial classes besides dozens of exercise machines.
The expansive area includes MediSpa, beauty salon, wellness and health options and every type of massage and treatments.
The three main dining rooms offer traditional early and late seatings and then the choices increase exponentially including room service to the Windjammer cafeteria style. But where Harmony really shines are the Specialty Dining choices, which can be purchased as a package. Do not miss Jamie’s Italian by Jamie Oliver, 150 Central Park crafted by Michael Schwartz, Izumi and Chops Grille. The whimsical, Wonderland, was a playful, imaginative delight for the most sophisticated diner interested in molecular gastronomy.
Bottom line, they are everywhere, designed and themed to cover everyone’s preferences but the fun really begins at the Bionic Bar where two robots operate non-stop in creating drinks to the delight of everyone. Lovely choices include Bolero, a Latin themed bar, Sabor Taqueria & Tequila Bar, and Vintages.
An absolute plethora of Science labs, kid zones, activities (group and singular), baby and tot nursery areas and teen zones. On deck there are ziplines, mini-golf, ice skating, table tennis, basketball, a real carousel, rock climbing walls, 3D movies, the Perfect Storm water slides, and the highest slide, 10 stories, Abyss slide.
Royal Caribbean has taken the entertainment department to a whole new level to include Grease, the Musical, 1887: A Journey in Time (technologically enhanced show in ice rink), The Fine Line Aqua show, Comedy @ The Attic, Tribute band and the Escape the Rubicon, a puzzle game which requires a group solving escaping the room.
