Agent Tips

  • Scattered through guestrooms and on La Libreria bookshelves, guests can find and enjoy Hotel Eden's collection of antique books. They were bought by founder Mr. Niestelweck for the reading pleasure of his guests and many have his name inscribed on the first page.
  • Just like all other menus in the hotel, Il Giardino Ristorante's changes regularly, but one dish remains untouched, the stuffed courgette blossoms with ricotta, taleggio, olives and cherry tomatoes. It has been on the menu for over 20 years and is a must-try!

Restaurant

Mesmerizing views over Rome alongside creative and innovative seasonal Mediterranean dining.

La Terrazza is the jewel in Hotel Eden’s crown and was awarded a Michelin star in November 2017. Located on the top floor, it offers guests mesmerizing views over Rome alongside creative and innovative seasonal Mediterranean dining. Using high-quality, fresh and seasonal produce, the cuisine at La Terrazza focuses on the nutritional aspects of the ingredients as well as overall wellbeing and is overseen by award-winning executive chef Fabio Ciervo. The design of the Michelin-starred restaurant draws on traditional Italian craftsmanship as inspiration, with high gloss varnished wood combined with elegant and stylish décor. With delicate lighting throughout the restaurant, designers Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku create a theatrical atmosphere complemented by Philippe David’s fresco glass wall consisting of layers of specially treated glass. From frosted, lacquered, chiseled and mirrored glasswork, the wall brings depth and a sense of space to La Terrazza.

Il Giardino Ristorante is the perfect spot to admire Rome, with a décor that conveys relaxation thanks to the olive tree in its middle, the warm wooden flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows, and unparalleled views over the Eternal City that can also be enjoyed from the open-air terrace. This friendly and elegant space complements and enhances its beautiful surroundings, rather than competing with it. Open daily, guests can savor dining with chef Fabio Ciervo’s modern interpretation of classic Italian and Roman cuisine. Using fresh, seasonal, and organic produce, it offers an array of healthy choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which include a selection of pasta and pizza.
