Xavier’s two greatest passions are theater and travel because he believes both have the power to transform the human spirit, foster a stronger connection to community, and simply conjure joy.

A fluent Spanish speaker born in Puerto Rico and raised in Kissimmee, Florida, Xavier graduated from the University of Miami and transformed his life in 2007 when he moved to NYC to begin his professional acting career. From Broadway and off-Broadway, to National and International tours, Xavier has spent many years cultivating his passion for exploration and self-expression. It was this curiosity and drive that led Xavier to join the SmartFlyer family in 2014 following work as a hotel concierge and personal assistant to a celebrity VIP.

Xavier possesses a deep knowledge of the travel industry and SmartFlyer’s unique place within it. His experience developing strategic partnerships, supporting high-production affiliates, and advising on itineraries across all seven continents has given him a unique perspective on client service. Xavier’s approach to travel is collaborative, empathetic and powered by curiosity–always putting people and purpose at the heart of any itinerary.

When he’s not planning travel or spending time with his partner and their new puppy, you can find Xavier looking after EQTR, a mentorship program built by and for the travel industry with a collective commitment to achieve equity in representation from BIPOC communities within the luxury travel space.
