The freshest yogurt is hand-delivered by the village dairy farmer, then served alongside flavorful muesli, homemade bread, and local eggs. A spread of aged cheeses paired with French wines is presented throughout the day, satisfying guests’ appetites at every turn. “Le Monal,” the oldest restaurant in the village, has been managed by the same local family since its inception and captivates visitors who want a taste of Le Miroir.

The Bar

Chalet Hibou’s bar boasts an extensive myriad of fine wines from all over France. Perhaps the most cherished place to sip on a glass is amidst the glow of the log fireplace, where intimate gatherings abound. A truly special beverage that guests have the privilege of tasting is the native Génépi liqueur, made by Jean-Noel Gaidet, Eleven’s head guide himself. The historically medicinal flower Génépi is gathered in August from Savoie’s high country, then mixed with alcohol and sugar to make a flowery liqueur best enjoyed from a flask after a long day of skiing.
