The property is intimate with just thirty-six accommodations, all beautifully designed; the rooms in the main house are more unique, while the rooms in the new builds are more modern, but they do look like they’re part of a collection, not disjointed at all.
The restaurant is farm-to-table, and they have great little cozy nooks everywhere and fireplaces to just hang out. The library has original books and was used by a writer who is researching the history of the area. The service is great as well! In terms of activities, the hotel has access to ski in the winter, skeet shooting all year round and there are cute towns nearby for antiquing.”
Getting There:
You can take the train up to Troutbeck via Metro North from Grand Central. Your final stop will be Wassaic, approximately five minutes from Troutbeck, where the hotel’s team will happily collect you from the station.

Getting there:
Roundtree’s convenient location allows you to easily indulge in the many delights of Amagansett. It’s situated just a short walk from the beach, steps away from the Hampton Jitney, and near the many dining and shopping attractions found in Amagansett’s town center. There are a few ways to get there, but a popular option is to take the Long Island Railroad. You can also drive but note that you will be subject to traffic. To reach Gurney’s by bus, take The Hamptons Jitney which leaves from various points across New York City. Lastly, if you’re feeling fancy, you have your travel advisor hook you up a heli via Blade!
