Restaurant + Bar

The birthplace of afternoon tea.

There's no better place to enjoy Afternoon Tea than at Palm Court, the dazzling birthplace of this timeless tradition. But that's not all Palm Court offers. With all-day dining and a wide selection of luxurious beverages, you might find yourself spoilt for choice.

When The Langham opened in London in 1865, it became the first hotel in the world to serve afternoon tea. Nearly 160 years later, the original Grand Hotel has launched a new afternoon tea that celebrates this unique culinary history: the tradition of taking tea in the Victorian era and The Langham as the birthplace of afternoon tea as we know it today. The menu takes you back in time and highlights the hotel's legacy with a modern twist, offering Victorian-inspired cakes, pastries, and sandwiches created by Executive Pastry Chef Andrew Gravett and culinary icon Michel Roux.

A chic interior and medley of innovative cocktails await at Artesian. Named after the original 360-foot-deep well under the hotel, the award-winning bar is perfect for celebrations, after-work tipples, or an indulgent nightcap. The Artesian has been a pioneer in the bar industry for years. Since its inception, we have pushed the boundaries of creative mixology through a consistently inventive approach to cocktail making.
