The Farmstead at Royal Malewane is a beautiful lodge located south of Malewane Lodge. Surrounding a waterhole, known for an abundance of wildlife, the lodge offers dramatic views of the bush. The property houses three Luxury Farm Suites and the Farmhouse, an exclusive-use villa. The Farmhouse and Luxury Farm Suites are placed on either side of the central lodge area. The suites are spacious and elegant, featuring a deck and private pool, and an outdoor shower. There is a spacious central area where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. Guests can enjoy game drives, birding safaris, and bush walks, as well as visit the Royal Waters Spa for a relaxing treatment.

    Royal Malewane is located in Thornybush Private Game Reserve, part of The Greater Kruger. The Greater Kruger refers to the Kruger National Park itself as well as the private game reserves on its Western border, such as the Sabi Sand, Timbavati, Manyeleti and Thornybush Private Game Reserve. The Kruger National Park is the largest game reserve in South Africa and one of the world’s biggest wildlife sanctuaries. Approximately the same size as Israel or Wales, it covers some 19,485 square kilometers offering a rich diversity of ecosystems that support over 145 mammal species, including lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants and black rhinos that make up Africa’s Big Five, and over 500 bird species.
