The Whitby Hotel has eighty-six bedrooms and suites over sixteen floors, each designed by Firmdale Hotels' founder and creative director Kit Kemp, in her award-winning contemporary English style. Each room has its own bold color scheme, floor-to-ceiling windows, and some have a private terrace. Bathrooms are beautifully designed in granite or marble, complete with double basins, a walk-in shower, and RikRak luxury bath products. All suites have a free-standing bath. The hotel's top floor is dedicated to the spectacular Whitby Suite, with two master bedrooms, a spacious drawing room, and two furnished terraces.

The Whitby Bar & Restaurant is a rich, colorful, airy room with high ceilings, an impressive thirty-foot pewter bar, and beautifully upholstered banquettes. Tall warehouse-style windows and doors lead through to a sunny orangery with vaulted ceilings and skylight, bathing it in natural light.
