Property Overview

Perched on Mallorca's northwest coast, Son Bunyola is a 1,300-acre estate of rare natural beauty, set on three miles of unspoilt coastline with olive groves and vineyards backdropped by the dramatic Tramuntana Mountain range. At its heart sits a twenty-seven-room hotel alongside three private villas – Sa Punta de S'Aguila, Sa Terra Rotja, and Son Balagueret – each with a private pool and sweeping views over the sea and mountains. A place equally well suited to active exploration and doing absolutely nothing at all.

Accommodations

Original details of the finca.

Son Bunyola's hotel occupies a cluster of beautifully preserved historic buildings at the heart of the estate, including the main Finca, dating to the 1500s, the Tafona, home to the original olive press, and several annex buildings, all sensitively restored to retain their original character. The twenty-seven rooms and suites span eight categories, all looking out over the vineyards and mountains. For those seeking complete privacy, the estate's three villas – Sa Punta de S'Aguila with five bedrooms, and Sa Terra Rotja and Son Balagueret with four bedrooms each – are available to hire year-round, each with a private pool and sea and mountain views.
Pool + Gym

Soak under the Mallorcan sun.

Son Bunyola's heated infinity pool sits on the historic terrace at the heart of the estate, with all-day food and drink service and views that take in the sea and surrounding mountains. Exercise classes are available for guests looking to make the most of the setting before settling in poolside.

The estate is home to a fully equipped fitness facility, a good option for those who want to keep up a routine between hikes, bike rides, and long lunches on the terrace.
Spa

An all-natural spa.

Son Bunyola has partnered with local specialists Gaia Natural Products to bring a thoughtfully curated treatment menu to the estate. Every product is made locally using Mallorcan flowers, herbs, salts, and locally produced olive, almond, and sunflower oil, for a spa experience that feels rooted in Mallorca. Two treatment rooms, including a couples' room, are available for bookings.
Restaurant + Bar

Authentic Mallorcan cuisine.

Dining at Son Bunyola is rooted in the island's culinary traditions, with much of the produce drawn directly from the estate's own gardens and orchards. The two restaurants celebrate authentic Mallorcan flavors with a farm-to-fork ethos, and every dish is complemented by a wine selection handpicked by the in-house sommelier, many of which come from the surrounding region.

Sa Terrassa is a natural gathering spot at the hotel, an indoor-outdoor bar with craft cocktails as the main event.
