My family and I ski in Deer Valley almost every year. My kids have grown up with the same amazing instructors and a knowledge of the mountain that has given them tremendous confidence while skiing. There is nothing like calling a mountain home and the thrill of not focusing on trail signs but rather just living in the moment.
Traveling to South Africa and Mozambique on my honeymoon was incredible. It is hard to imagine just how truly special a safari experience is until you live it—seeing the animals in their natural habitat is an experience I will remember forever. In Mozambique, we took a helicopter to a private island and swam in the most incredible ocean water I have ever seen. It felt like we were a million miles from civilization. Both experiences really forced me to live in the moment, which, in the daily fast-paced world I live in, I cherish the opportunity to do this, as it is so rare to come by these days.
