From pine-grove dinners to Michelin-starred evenings.
Dining at Forte Village is a destination in itself. During high season, up to twenty-one restaurants are open, with a brigade of over eighty chefs preparing more than 180 different dishes daily, eighty percent of which are made with ingredients sourced directly from Sardinia. Michelin-starred collaborations with chefs including Heinz Beck, Max Mascia, and Giuseppe Molaro bring exclusive dining experiences to the resort from mid-June to late August.
The flagship Cavalieri restaurant sets the tone, an elegant garden setting in a fragrant pine grove, with soft piano music, an exceptional buffet and barbecue grill, and a spread of Italian and Sardinian specialties reserved for guests of the five-star hotels. The Forte Grill in the Oasis area takes a more casual approach, serving premium grilled meats from Italy, Ireland, and Australia alongside generous starters and desserts. For something more rooted in the island, the Sardinian Restaurant offers a terrace overlooking the Oasis pools and a menu built around handmade pastas, local meats, island cheeses, and regional wines. Those looking for something livelier can head to the Brazilian Restaurant, where charcoal-grilled meats arrive on long skewers in a relaxed, convivial setting.
The elegant Bar Bandiere is the resort's most iconic watering hole. Tucked within Hotel Castello, it's the place for a fine whisky or classic cocktail accompanied by live piano music. For daytime refreshment, Bar Aqvatica sits at the crossroads of the sports area, Forte Bay, and the beach, serving fresh juices and light snacks between activities, while the Oasis Pool Bar offers swim-up service with sushi, salads, and sandwiches at lunch. As the evening picks up, Bar Piazza Luisa becomes the heart of the action, the ideal spot to unwind after dinner and take in the live shows. Wine lovers will want to seek out the Wine Bar at the entrance to Piazza Luisa, with a curated selection of Sardinian and Italian bottles, and no visit is complete without a stop at the Gelateria for artisan gelato, or the Pasticceria for pastries and an espresso on the terrace.
