Deeply connected to the land and the seasons.
What truly sets Keythorpe Hall apart is its deep commitment to sustainability, particularly in its approach to food. The two-acre walled garden provides an abundance of fruit and vegetables to the kitchen, which is led by Bent Varming (formerly of Michelin-starred restaurants Sketch, St. John, and Lyle’s). Bent pairs this with produce from local farms, ensuring that every meal served at Keythorpe Hall is not only delicious, but also deeply connected to the land and the seasons. Menus are created for each guest, taking into account all preferences and dietary requirements.
With good food goes good wine. The estate has teamed up with award-winning sommelier and author Bert Blaize to curate a very special bespoke drinks offering–from non-alcoholic switchels to cocktails, old-world fine wines to small PetNat artisan producers. Bert is the wine concierge, available to create a personalized wine and drinks list for every stay. Additionally, the estate has available a selection of house spirits, including a gin made locally with botanicals grown in the walled garden, ethical soft drinks, and mixers. The team will be on hand to pour drinks, but they equally encourage you to help yourself to any drinks you would like from the bar.
