With the belief that the greatest trips are like punctuation marks to an already fulfilling life, Liz’s approach to travel planning is rooted in understanding her clients on a deep level.
Liz begins the planning process by asking thoughtful questions and carefully listening to her clients to uncover what will make their next trip not just luxurious, but meaningful on a personal level. With Liz, every trip is crafted to be just right for the right person at the right moment. Sometimes, that means an exhilarating adventure; other times, it’s a quiet, restorative pause.
Having lived on three different continents and completed a 170-mile trek through the Sierra, Liz’s own wanderlust has taken her to Norway’s fjords for invigorating swims, along the scenic 12 Apostles during a South Australian road trip, and into the vibrant nightlife of Medellín. She’s ventured solo to Okinawa, savored the dramatic landscapes of Scotland’s Highlands, and yet still finds joy in returning to her sunny Santa Cruz, California home. Her passion for collecting passport stamps is rivaled only by her love of creating unforgettable experiences for others.
When planning for her clients, Liz’s focus is on elevating every aspect of their travel experience. From maximizing hotel perks and uncovering hidden gem restaurants to arranging VIP greeters who sweep her guests through customs, she ensures that each moment feels equally seamless and indulgent. Her itineraries encourage spaciousness and spontaneity, leaving travelers refreshed, energized, and brimming with cherished memories. Liz is grateful to have joined the SmartFlyer community and is proud to bring her thoughtful, adventurous spirit to those she plans for.
My pre-trip ritual includes a lot of hydration and snack preparing. I like to spend an hour or so devoted to pulling clothes and prepping my bag without any other distractions. When I take intentional time around preparing, I feel more settled.
I will never stop loving Mexico. The landscapes are varied and stunning, the culture is rich, I love the food, and the people are completely undefeated in their overall warmth. Growing up with a family home in Todos Santos, Mexico continues to shape who I am and I never grow tired of spending time there.
Keep up with the places that deserve more than a bookmark, but a check-in.
