Property Overview

Quercus is a working farm and ranch in the foothills of Georgia, built around the belief that people and land recover best together. The landscape is shaped by macro-farming, biodynamic gardening, and a deep respect for the land’s history, all of which feed directly into the culinary program at Uberto. Four thoughtfully designed cabins sit across the property, creating a stay that feels private and connected to nature. The experience is guided by a strong sense of care—from the land itself to the meals served—creating a place where time slows and rest comes naturally.

Agent Tips

  • Take a garden tour, walking through rows of produce that will later appear on your plate.
  • The Liberty Experience offers time with the farm’s horses in a more intuitive way—no riding, just guided interaction and connection in the woods.
Accommodations

Cabins designed for deep rest.

With just four standalone cabins set among woodlands and pasture, Quercus feels more like a private retreat than a traditional resort. Each cabin is designed to support rest, with organic mattresses and linens, circadian-friendly lighting, blackout shades, and spa-style bathrooms with botanically based amenities. Expansive porches with fireplaces or firepits, large picture windows, and generous seating areas blur the line between indoors and outdoors. The design encourages guests to follow the natural rhythm of the day. From the two-bedroom forest setting of Naya to sunrise-facing Ember, and Cypress and Sylva set among the trees, each cabin offers a slightly different perspective of the landscape while maintaining the same sense of calm and intention.
Restaurant + Bar

A seasonal menu shaped by the land.

Uberto is the culinary center of Quercus, an intimate dining room where chef Ryan Smith—known for his Michelin-starred Staplehouse in Atlanta—serves a seasonal tasting menu on Friday and Saturday evenings. Each dish draws from the ranch’s gardens and surrounding landscape, with curated wine pairings that reflect the setting. The experience feels closely tied to the pace and philosophy of the property. Separate from the cabins and restaurant, The Cottage serves as a lounge and cocktail space. A restored farm structure, it is filled with antiques and books from the family’s collection, creating a setting that feels more like a living room than a bar. Guests can relax inside or gather on the porch, where sunset views over the pasture become part of the experience.

By 1978, the home was complete and Quercus Farm officially began.
