    The resort sits on Glyfada Beach, about twenty minutes from Corfu Town by car. The Achilleion Palace, built for Empress Sisi of Austria, is close by and worth a half-day. For something more active, the Pelekas viewpoint is one of the best spots on the island for sunset views, and the hills above the resort have well-maintained hiking trails the concierge can help arrange.
