Originally designed as a private villa by the legendary French-Swiss architect Le Corbusier in the 1920s, Punta Tragara is seemingly sculpted from the rock itself, its salmon-hued terracotta façade one of the most distinctive sights on the island. Perched on the southern tip of Capri, the forty-four rooms and suites look out over the Faraglioni Rocks, three ancient sea stacks rising from the deep blue below. Inside, antique sculptures and contemporary art occupy the same space with easy harmony, with warm Mediterranean colors running throughout.

The pool area centers on two outdoor pools, both positioned to take full advantage of the Faraglioni views. It's the natural gathering point before and after dinner, and on sunny afternoons the still water catches the color of the sea beyond.

The Wellness Area at Punta Tragara is run in partnership with NARDUCCI Wellness, an Italian brand founded by Fabrizio Narducci in 2010 and specializing in hotel well-being. The treatment menu spans massages, beauty rituals, and bespoke sensory journeys, with skin care delivered through INSÌUM, a clean, vegan, biotech-led brand.
Restaurant + Bar

A Michelin-starred terrace above the Faraglioni.

Le Monzù is the beating heart of Punta Tragara, a Michelin-starred restaurant with an open terrace positioned directly above the Faraglioni rocks. Executive Chef Luigi Lionetti, a Capri native, draws on local culinary traditions and the flavors of the island, with a menu that nods to broader Italian and Mediterranean cooking. Lunch is served poolside; dinner moves to the candlelit terrace.

The Tragara Club is an open-air pergola bar and the natural end point to a day on beautiful Capri. It's a social spot to continue your evening with incredible island views as the backdrop.

    Punta Tragara sits on one of the island's most dramatic promontories, with the Faraglioni rocks directly below, the tallest rising over 350 feet from the sea. According to Homer, they are boulders hurled at Ulysses by the one-eyed giant Polyphemus; Virgil claimed them as the home of the seductive sirens. The hotel is about fifteen minutes on foot from Capri town and the Piazzetta, on a pedestrian-only road, reached by funicular from Marina Grande and a short walk from there.
