With a profound passion for meaningful travel and an impeccable eye for detail, Lorenia crafts journeys filled with unforgettable experiences, believing that every itinerary reveals something new within her clients when they’re immersed in the moment.
As a seasoned luxury travel advisor with over a decade of experience, Lorenia goes beyond traditional itineraries, designing trips that center on the kinds of moments that transform perspectives and create lasting impressions. She began her career alongside her husband, Juan Carlos, with a focus on honeymoons—intimate journeys that serve as the first chapter in a couple’s shared story. Over the years, her expertise naturally grew to encompass family adventures and experiences for couples who hold a deep curiosity for the world and a shared desire to connect meaningfully with new places.
Lorenia’s perspective on travel has been profoundly shaped by moments that inspire awe and humility. Whether trekking through Rwanda’s Virunga Mountains to meet a family of gorillas or standing atop a peak in the Dolomites, moments immersed in beauty repeatedly remind her of the transformative power of travel to put life into perspective. Yet, Lorenia’s equally enchanted by the quieter discoveries—such as savoring an exquisite cheese in a tiny artisan shop in Paris, or experiencing the serene ritual of tea in a traditional Hangzhou tea house, where the speed of life seems to slow to a soothing rhythm.
For Lorenia, true luxury takes many forms—whether it’s an extraordinary place to stay, exclusive access to hidden gems, or the intangible gift of time well spent when she’s somewhere where there is thoughtful attention to detail. With a masterful blend of tailor-selected accommodations, rare experiences, and seamless planning, she creates journeys that allow travelers to explore the world with confidence, curiosity, and joy. Above all, Lorenia’s aim is to design trips that leave travelers enriched, with stories and memories that linger long after they return home.
One of the most unforgettable places I’ve ever been is Mahale Mountains in Tanzania. You fly for about four hours in a small Cessna from the Serengeti and suddenly land on a beach on Lake Tanganyika—the scenery shifts completely. Jungle-covered mountains behind you, an endless lake in front of you, and across the water, the Congo. Everything there revolves around the chimpanzees. The guides live incredibly close to their world and know the M Community almost like a family—they can tell you the full “biography” of each chimp, their personalities, their alliances, their stories. Watching them in the forest while looking out across the lake toward the Congo is one of those travel moments that makes you stop and think: this is why we travel.
Bhutan is at the top of my list. It’s one of the few places in the world that seems to have intentionally chosen a different pace and philosophy of life, and I find that deeply fascinating. What draws me most is the possibility of experiencing a place where nature, spirituality, and daily life feel closely intertwined. I’m also incredibly curious about the setting itself—Bhutan, tucked into the Himalayas, already feels like a “wow” destination before you even arrive. The hotel offering is exquisite, with properties that feel deeply committed to Bhutanese culture and heritage and are thoughtfully designed to reflect the spirit of the place.
Keep up with the places that deserve more than a bookmark, but a check-in.
