What has been your most memorable travel experience to date?

One of my most memorable travel experiences to date was exploring Iceland by road through its constantly changing landscapes. What made the trip so special wasn’t just the dramatic scenery, but the feeling of discovering boutique hotels, geothermal lagoons, and hidden places surrounded by complete silence and nature. From driving through black sand beaches and glacier lagoons to ending the day in a sauna overlooking the mountains, every part of the experience felt both calming and surreal. I especially loved how remote and untouched many places felt, while still offering an incredible level of design, hospitality, and comfort. Iceland completely changed the way I think about travel—proving to me that some of the most memorable experiences come from atmosphere, simplicity, and connection to nature.

What does your perfect vacation day look like?

My perfect vacation usually includes a mix of beautiful nature, great food, boutique hotels with character, and enough flexibility to fully enjoy each destination without feeling rushed. I love trips that balance adventure and relaxation, whether that means exploring a new city, spending the day outdoors, discovering local restaurants and cafés, or ending the evening at a cozy hotel spa or sauna. I’m especially drawn to places that feel authentic and visually inspiring, with strong design, atmosphere, and a sense of discovery. More than anything, I value trips that feel thoughtfully paced and leave room for spontaneity, unexpected moments, and genuinely experiencing a place rather than just checking things off a list.

Travel Tip

  • Don’t try to see everything, the best trips usually come from leaving room to actually enjoy where you are.
