The Côte d’Azur by Sea with Four Seasons Yachts

Intro Stay Highlights itinerary

Just one month after launching its first yacht in March 2026, Four Seasons Yachts was already at work at a shipyard in Italy building its second vessel: Four Seasons II.

With a planned launch in April 2028, we anticipate that the demand for Four Seasons II will be on pace with what we experienced during the brand’s inaugural seasons at sea. That is to say, rooms and suites will go quickly. So, we’re here to help you get ahead of the curve and begin exploring sailings as far as two years in advance, particularly as we look to Four Seasons Yacht’s French Riviera sailings in high summer season. The brand has expertly engineered its guests’ Mediterranean experience, pairing yachting ease with the privacy of a residential design across its suites.

This six-day voyage aboard Four Seasons II follows the coastline from Salerno to Monte Carlo, pairing restorative days at sea with extended stops along the French Riviera. Your journey begins with embarkation in Salerno. Then, the French Riviera comes into view through two distinctly different ports: Saint-Tropez, followed by an overnight stay docked in front of Beaulieu-sur-Mer. After five nights onboard, your voyage concludes in Monte Carlo. Your SmartFlyer travel advisor can tailor the days onboard to your priorities, whether that means securing a table at Club 55, organizing a private museum visit focused on Riviera art and architecture, or extending your time in Monaco after you step off the yacht.

Stay

Four Seasons at Sea

Four Seasons II

Launching in early 2028, Four Seasons II expands the Four Seasons Yachts experience across a fresh collection of itineraries. The yacht brings the brand’s established approach to hospitality to sea, with private terraces, floor-to-ceiling windows, residential-style layouts, and a guest-to-staff ratio of nearly one to one. Four Seasons II will feature eleven culinary concepts, immersive cultural programming, bespoke “Shore and Sea Experiences,” and itineraries shaped around late stays and overnights. The seventy-nine suite accommodations have been designed around the relationship between indoor and outdoor space. Seaview Suites begin with 473 square feet of interior space, complemented by private terraces measuring between sixty-four and 140 square feet. Ocean Suites are larger and introduce dedicated living areas and terraces of up to 247 square feet, while connecting configurations allow couples, families, and groups to create more expansive residential arrangements. The yacht’s social center is its twenty-meter aft pool deck, inspired by the legendary Christina O. Days at sea can also be spent in the spa, fitness center, restaurants, lounges, or on a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. A transverse marina brings you level with the water and serves as a launch point for watersports when operating conditions and the itinerary allow.

ItineraryItinerary

1 Salerno, Italy
Embark from Salerno, a Bastion of Medieval History

Framed by the Tyrrhenian Sea and the hills of Campania, Salerno offers a gentler introduction to the popular Italian region, home to the centuries-old Arechi Castle. After landing at the Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport, a private driver will take you for thirty minutes to the Molo Manfredi port in Salerno. Depending on your arrival time, your SmartFlyer travel advisor can arrange a short, guided exploration before embarkation. Your luggage will be taken aboard, so you’ll be free to explore and sightsee at your leisure. Your tour will begin with a stroll along the Lungomare Trieste, the waterfront promenade framed by palm trees, gardens, and views across the gulf. From here, the city rises toward a medieval center where narrow streets lead to the eleventh-century Duomo di Salerno.

Just one month after launching its first yacht in March 2026, Four Seasons Yachts was already at work at a shipyard in Italy building its second vessel: Four Seasons II. This is the duomo di salerno.
A glimpse into the Duomo di Salerno

Your tour will include one of the city’s most compelling historical sites: the Garden of Minerva. With more time, you can visit the cathedral, walk Via dei Mercanti, and enjoy an unhurried lunch before boarding Four Seasons II. We love the Michelin-starred Suscettibile Salerno for lingering lunches, and Trattoria a Sud during the week—your SmartFlyer travel advisor will secure your reservation in advance. Following lunch, a private driver will take you to the Salerno port, where you’ll board Four Seasons II. Once aboard, settle into your suite and step onto the private terrace as the yacht prepares to leave southern Italy. You’ll spend the evening enjoying the views and your first meal on the ship—whether that’s in an al fresco dining space or in the privacy of your suite.

2 Tyrrhenian Sea
Your First Day at Sea Aboard Four Seasons II

…your itinerary gives you time to get to know the yacht before the coming days where you’ll be stopping along the French Riviera.

The first full day is deliberately spent at sea. As Four Seasons II crosses the Tyrrhenian Sea, your itinerary gives you time to get to know the yacht before the coming days where you’ll be stopping along the French Riviera. Start your morning in the fitness center—which offers cardio, strength training, and stretching equipment—keeping you active even as you traverse this expanse of blue visible through the windows. Enjoy breakfast on your terrace before heading outside to the aft pool deck, part of a bi-level design inspired by the legendary yacht Christina O. The twenty-meter pool is the ideal place to soak up the Mediterranean sun. You can spend the morning moving between the water and a shaded lounger, keeping the sea in view. For more adventure, you can make use of the transverse marina, which brings you level with the water and serves as a launch point for watersports when the conditions allow.

Lunch can unfold beside the pool or at one of the yacht’s restaurants—with Terrasse and Muna on Deck 5 or Sedna on Deck 6 as noteworthy options. With eleven culinary and bar concepts across the yacht, this sea day gives you time to explore the dining program completely at leisure. This afternoon, spend time in the spa on board where a comprehensive menu of signature Four Seasons offerings is available. Before dinner, consider a stop at the Champagne and Caviar bar, marking a celebratory way to anchor your first full day at sea. For dinner, the ship offers Michelin-caliber interpretations of Mediterranean and comfort classics, and you can choose whatever best suits your mood. End the evening with a nightcap at Bar O on Deck 6.

3 Saint-Tropez, France
Saint-Tropez, from Early Morning to Midnight

Today you’ll wake up docked just off Saint-Tropez, where Four Seasons II remains docked from early morning until midnight, giving you a full day to experience the town beyond its celebrated harbor. Start with breakfast on your terrace as the pastel façades of the old port come into view, then head ashore for the short, fifteen-minute private drive to Pampelonne Beach. Once you arrive, you’ll spend the morning at Club 55, the beachfront institution that has drawn artists, actors, designers, and international travelers since 1955. You might recognize it as the filming location for Bridgette Bardot’s And God Created Woman. Settle beneath one of the beach club’s distinctive blue umbrellas—reserved in advance by the Four Seasons Yachts team in coordination with your SmartFlyer travel advisor—for a swim before lunch at its beloved on-site restaurant, where grilled fish, Provençal vegetables, and chilled rosé are served only steps from the sand.

In late afternoon, a private driver can take you directly to St. Tropez’s center, or you can opt to return to Four Seasons II to change before heading into town. If you’re up for some sightseeing, your first stop will be a visit to the Annonciade Museum, housed in a sixteenth-century chapel near the port. The collection traces Saint-Tropez’s development as an artists’ enclave through works by painters connected to the town, including Paul Signac, Henri Matisse, Pierre Bonnard, and Kees van Dongen. From the museum, continue with a guide into La Ponche, the former fishing quarter where narrow lanes wind between ochre and rose-colored façades. Your route leads naturally toward Place des Lices, where palm trees shade café terraces, and pétanque courts dot the streets. Shopping is a must, and Saint-Tropez’s boutiques make it easy, extending from heritage sandal makers and independent Provençal shops to flagship fashion houses clustered near the harbor. We recommend K.Jacques for a pair of their iconic leather sandals.

By the time you return to the yacht, you’ll have experienced Saint-Tropez from its quiet morning hours through the after-dinner energy that has defined its summer nights for generations.

With Four Seasons II not departing until midnight, dinner can unfold at the typical Riviera pace: languidly. The fare for Four Seasons sailings doesn’t include lunch, dinner, or alcohol—and that is very intentional. Every aspect of Four Seasons Yacht is designed to put you in as much direct contact with each destination as possible, including culinarily. We recommend a meal at Sénéquier if you want the classic St. Tropez scene. (Bonus points that this hot spot is right on the marina.) For something more elevated, you can’t go wrong with the three-Michelin-starred La Vague ‘Or. Afterward, walk along the illuminated harbor, where café tables face the fishing boats and yachts moored beneath the old town. By the time you return to the yacht, you’ll have experienced Saint-Tropez from its quiet morning hours through the after-dinner energy that has defined its summer nights for generations.

4 Beaulieu-sur-Mer, France
The Belle Époque Side of Beaulieu-sur-Mer

…Belle Époque villas with ornate façades and wrought-iron balconies line the streets leading to the marina.

Wake up to views of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, situated between Nice and Monaco, where Four Seasons II will remain for the next two days. Start with breakfast on your terrace as the yacht arrives along this quieter stretch of the Côte d’Azur. Beaulieu-sur-Mer has long been loved by European royals, international celebrities, and American politicians, and with good reason. Once ashore, you’ll have the chance to begin at Villa Kérylos, one of Beaulieu-sur-Mer’s most distinctive residences. Conceived during the Belle Époque as a modern interpretation of an ancient Greek home—now a museum you can tour with a private guide—the waterfront villa incorporates marble columns, detailed mosaics, frescoes, and furnishings inspired by classical antiquity. Continue through the Mediterranean gardens, then walk back toward the center of town, where Belle Époque villas with ornate façades and wrought-iron balconies line the streets leading to the marina.

Just one month after launching its first yacht in March 2026, Four Seasons Yachts was already at work at a shipyard in Italy building its second vessel: Four Seasons II. This is a meal at a michelin starred restaurant on the stop.

Lunch is recommended at So’Mets, nestled just a block from the sea and a six-minute walk from Villa Kérylos. Here, Chef Anne-Sophie Sabini delivers a monthly-changing menu comprised of intricate dishes developed with locally sourced ingredients. Afterward, spend the afternoon exploring Beaulieu-sur-Mer at your own unhurried pace. Browse its independent boutiques, stop for an espresso at one of the many cafes and patisseries lining the street, or return to Four Seasons II for time beside the pool before the sunset. If you prefer to stay in town, consider an apéro near Port de Plaisance at L’Atelier d’Emile. You can follow with dinner just a few minutes’ walk away at the Michelin-starred Le Restaurant des Rois, a decadent experience that dates back to 1880. We recommend pairing your terrace meal with a bottle from Provence or nearby Bellet. Afterward, stroll along the marina before returning to the yacht for a nightcap at Bar O.

5 Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France
Villas and Coastal Paths in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat

Your second day in Beaulieu-sur-Mer turns its focus toward neighboring Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. After breakfast aboard Four Seasons II, get ashore and meet your private driver for the short journey around the peninsula. Your first stop is Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, the rose-colored Belle Époque residence commissioned by Béatrice de Rothschild. The villa’s interiors reflect the collector’s interest in French decorative arts, while its grounds are organized into a series of themed gardens overlooking the Mediterranean. Allow time to move through the French formal garden, the rose garden, and the terraces facing the sea before continuing farther along the peninsula.

Just one month after launching its first yacht in March 2026, Four Seasons Yachts was already at work at a shipyard in Italy building its second vessel: Four Seasons II.

From there, your SmartFlyer travel advisor can arrange lunch and loungers at Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel, less than ten minutes’ drive from the villa. The century-old Riviera landmark is set within six hectares of gardens overlooking the Mediterranean. Spend the afternoon at Club Dauphin, the hotel’s legendary pool club and a signature of the property since 1939. Perched above the rocky coastline, its heated seawater infinity pool appears to merge with the Mediterranean below. The club’s Mediterranean grill expertly cooks freshly caught fish, vibrant vegetables, and Provençal flavors over fire and serves them, making for a memorable meal.

You might head ashore for one final walk along the waterfront or have dinner on your private suite terrace as Beaulieu-sur-Mer recedes into the evening light.

Back aboard Four Seasons II, leave some of your early evening open for a treatment at the spa or time relaxing on the aft pool deck. The overnight stay means you’ve already experienced the destination after dark, so the final hours in port can remain intentionally flexible. You might head ashore for one final walk along the waterfront or have dinner on your private suite terrace as Beaulieu-sur-Mer recedes into the evening light. If you prefer to dine at one of the onboard restaurants, since your first meal was at Sedna, we recommend switching it up and trying Muna. Your last dinner of the trip overlooks the stunning coastline before the yacht continues toward Monte Carlo. End the evening watching the lights of Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Cap Ferrat grow smaller as Four Seasons II begins the final passage of this voyage.

6 Monte Carlo, Monaco
Disembark in Monte Carlo

Your final morning of the itinerary begins as Four Seasons II sails into Port Hercule, where superyachts line the harbor below Monaco’s steeply terraced streets. Enjoy breakfast on your private terrace before disembarking, taking in one last view of the Mediterranean as the yacht completes its passage along the Côte d’Azur. Once ashore, meet your private driver for the short journey to the Japanese Garden. Designed as a waterfront retreat, the garden brings together stone lanterns, arched bridges, waterfalls, carefully clipped plantings, and a traditional tea house. Follow its winding paths beside the water, then continue into the Carré d’Or, the polished district around the Casino de Monte-Carlo, home to boutiques for Chanel, Hermès, Cartier, and more.

From there, walk toward the nineteenth-century casino and the neighboring Opéra de Monte-Carlo, designed by Charles Garnier. Leave time to explore the boutiques surrounding the square before sitting down for lunch at Le Louis XV. Set inside the magnificent Hôtel de Paris, the three-Michelin-starred establishment offers a final taste of the Riviera. If contemporary art and architecture appeal more, your SmartFlyer travel advisor can arrange a guided visit to the Grimaldi Forum and confirm which cultural exhibition will coincide with your arrival. Though this marks the end of this voyage with Four Seasons II, Monaco makes a natural place to extend the trip. Your SmartFlyer travel advisor can coordinate a post-cruise stay and plan the following days around the principality, the medieval hilltop village of Èze, the gardens and citrus-lined streets of Menton, or additional time along the French Riviera.
