With a philosophy built around curating unforgettable travel experiences, Rachel blends her insider knowledge with a passion for creating seamless, personalized journeys that feel both effortless and inspired.
Growing up with an architect for a father, Rachel has always been drawn to a life filled with beauty. She finds inspiration in art, landscapes, interiors, exquisite food and wine, and the harmony of different languages. For her, every destination is a new canvas where these passions come alive in unexpected and breathtaking ways. Prior to becoming a travel advisor, Rachel fueled these passions into the fashion industry, a starting point that honed her eye for aesthetics in her travel career.
Traveling with her husband and three young boys adds a delightful layer of adventure to every trip. She embraces the joy of family travel, knowing these shared experiences forge the most cherished lifelong memories. As a detail-oriented person who cares deeply about every facet of an experience, Rachel brings that same meticulous energy to her craft as a travel advisor.
Our first “big adventure” with our then six- and seven-year-old boys, plus our best couple friends. The trip kicked off with my son’s eardrum rupturing mid-flight (nothing says bonjour like tears and Tylenol), followed by both said son and I scoring antibiotics from the hotel doctor. The guys, in their internationally traveled, infinite wisdom, were “in charge” of the trains and forgot to pre-book them… so instead of Avignon, we scrambled and re-routed to Lyon. (To their credit, Lyon was actually fantastic.)
Just when we thought we’d found our rhythm in Provence, massive forest fires forced us to evacuate our villa two days early. Packing up kids, luggage, and rosé that quickly is a special kind of cardio. Yet somehow, between the chaos, detours, and medical mishaps, it became my most memorable trip. Paris, Lyon, Provence, and the coast were still breathtaking—and we were lucky enough to turn disaster into comedy and adventure. We’ll remember it forever!
The hotel I keep coming back to is The Lodge at Primland, an Auberge Collection property. I’ve always been drawn to properties from Auberge Collection, but Primland feels extra special—it’s just two hours from home, and visiting it has become a familiar and comforting ritual for me.
Keep up with the places that deserve more than a bookmark, but a check-in.
