Having been raised in an internationally-minded family before choosing a career in global pharmaceutical that took her on business travel throughout Europe, South Africa, Canada, and the United States, Alex has always made it her mission to stop and enjoy the experience along the way. She brings both a lifetime of family travel and over two decades of business travel to the table when working with clients. Sharing her love for discovery of the unknown, adventure and culture, Alex enjoys researching the perfect getaway to creating new life-long memories.

What is your most memorable travel experience?

It’s hard to decide between a family adventure through Costa Rica or an African safari and bareboat sailing adventures with my husband. Costa Rica was a multi-destination adventure that started with hiking in the tropical forest near an active volcano, zip-lining through the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and then soaking in Tabacón’s hot springs before transitioning to the seaside near Guanacaste for multiple days of snorkeling, surfing and exploring local cuisine and scenery along the coastline. One highlight was an early morning sighting of the sea turtles returning to the water!

Which destinations do you go back to again and again? Why?

I’m a repeat offender when it comes to visits to Split, Croatia; Cotswolds, England; and Chatham, Massachusetts, and Gig Harbor on Puget Sound in Washington. These places have so much to offer and each new trip is a completely new experience! I love exploring off-the-beaten-path, and I always look forward to my next visit to these old favorites.
