Allison (Addie) Law

LocationNew York
Experience4 Years

Whether it be gorilla trekking in Uganda, paragliding over the Azores or surfing on the sand dunes of the Sahara, Addie loves to help her clients experience the unforgettable parts of the world she’s visited first-hand; not to mention, returned from with the tips and tricks you can’t find on Google.

Addie started her career in Sports Management, but her interest in planning trips and exploring new places was sparked after a job at the 2012 London Olympics.  With over 40 countries under her belt and extensive exploration within the United States, Addie constantly looks forward to the next authentic meal and unique activity that each destination has to offer. Never one to pass up an adventure – especially if it involves a cool dive site – she is known to jump on a plane to explore even the most remote spots.

Which destinations are you looking forward to visiting and why?

Anything off the beaten path or undiscovered is up my alley. The less people that have visited before me, the better! I also love adventurous destinations, which typically go hand-in-hand with being untouched. A thrill-seeking activity aspect – whether its hiking, bungee jumping, scuba diving, etc –  is also a huge draw for me. If the destination is unique and adventurous, you bet it’s on my list!

Which destinations/hotels do you go back to again and again? Why?

I don’t typically like to return to the same place twice (there’s just so much more to see!) but one destination that I would definitely make an exception for is Cape Town.  I love Africa in general and Cape Town really “has it all” for me.  You can climb Table Mountain in the morning and be surfing at Long Beach by the afternoon! It’s an hour away from some amazing Winelands and easy to pair with a safari! I mean, where else can you do all of this plus hang with penguins and cage dive with great white sharks?   The culinary scene is booming and I personally love all of the local markets. They’re great places to pick up some authentic, non-touristy souvenirs.

Favorite Travel Tip

I hate wasting any unnecessary time rummaging through my bag on trips so I make a list of every clothing item that I’ve packed in order to pre-plan my outfits ahead of time. I also just started using packing cubes which make everything so much easier to find when you’re in a rush and running out the door!

Testimonials

Allison was extremely valuable in helping me plan this trip. She was very professional, always returning my calls and emails promptly. She was even responsive when she was on vacation! Allison also brought a wealth of knowledge and information which helped me choose hotels, air and activities. Most of all Allison was a delight to work with...high energy, very positive and an absolute joy. I will definitely be using SmartFlyer in the future and will ask to work with Addie. I highly recommend Smart Flyer and specifically Allison Law.-R.E.

Allison is GREAT! This was a very simple booking at a hotel, but Allison made sure we got the best rate available by comparing online rates with the Virtuoso rate and amenities (which are so nice). She's terrific: cordial, prompt, and knowledgeable. Terrific!-M.T.

We had a wonderful experience working with Allison. She booked us at excellent hotels and during our time in Peru our tours and transfers were all seamless!-J.B.

Allison is very knowledgeable regarding many aspects of travel. She is always readily available when I have questions or concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend her for any and all travel needs.-L.T.
