Annie Chambers

Winston-Salem
7 Years of experience

Annie lives and breathes travel, when she isn’t traveling internationally, she and her husband are exploring all that their backyard of Southern California has to offer.

A youth exchange in Bordeaux, France led to a French major at the College of Charleston, where Annie spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Grenoble in the French Alps.

After graduating from the College of Charleston, Annie accepted a position with the Department of Defense that took her to Germany, and eventually onto Belgium, Chicago, Washington D.C, and Florida telling the stories of U.S. soldiers and their families. Her time spent abroad and living in different parts of the United States exposed her to many unique customs, languages and cuisines.

Her evolution to a full-time travel advisor occurred naturally after planning many trips for friends and family, not to mention she grew up with a travel agent mother. Annie loves getting to know clients and planning the trip of a lifetime for them. She’s visited more than 30 countries and has five new ones coming up in the next year!

What inspired you to become a travel agent?

Annie’s passion for travel and exploring unknown cultures began at a young age when her mother (also a travel agent!) and father began toting her and her two younger siblings across the world on adventure after adventure. Her insatiable need to travel the world and uncover hidden gems led her to the travel world. She loves working with people to seek out their travel dreams and make them come true.

Travel Tip

  • The best moments happen when something isn’t planned. Wandering down a street and finding your new favorite restaurant, stumbling upon a store with homemade crafts, or having a rare wildlife sighting. Leave time in your plans to allow for exploring.
