The founder of Sojourns Of, Ash is at the helm of a boutique, full-service luxury travel consultancy based in Sydney, built for a global clientele.

Working with travellers across multiple continents, Ash plans with an editorial eye and a practical approach, designing journeys around rhythm, energy, and intent. He selects hotels for atmosphere, consistency of service, and design, and curates every element with the same level of intention. From flights and transfers to guides, yachts, and villas, his style prioritises access and finding meaning over box-ticking.

Ash travels extensively each year to personally vet hotels, deepen destination knowledge, and stay close to what is new, while building some of the industry’s strongest relationships with hoteliers and on-the-ground partners. That reputation shapes the details that make a trip feel effortless, from the right room category and layout to pacing that actually works with jet lag, weather, and mood. This commitment to scouting also allows Ash to be direct with clients, steering them away from the obvious choices when something better exists.

Sojourns Of is proudly affiliated with SmartFlyer, a global luxury travel leader, and Virtuoso, partnerships that collectively provide clients with preferred partner benefits and VIP recognition across many of the world’s leading hotels and travel brands. Ash’s work has been recognised with inclusion as a Condé Nast Traveler Top Travel Specialist (2025), SmartFlyer ONE Top Producer honours (2023, 2024, 2025), and Luxury Travel Magazine Gold List recognition (2024, 2025).

Ultimately, Sojourns Of is for travellers who value discretion, trust, and a high-touch planning process. Whether it’s a milestone celebration, a multi-stop family trip, a design-forward city break, a safari, or a hotel-led journey built around the best of the best, Ash’s goal is always the same: make it seamless, elevate the experience, and leave nothing to chance.

What is your most memorable travel experience?

Egypt was the one place I had wanted to visit since I was a small child. And day after day, I was completely blown away. It was an incredible experience, especially my slow sojourn down the Nile with Nour El Nil.

Which destinations/hotels do you go back to again and again?

I always try to visit Capri at least once every year. It’s my ‘happy place’. Somewhere where you can experience the true essence of La Dolce Vita, whether at glamourous restaurants or beach clubs. The thing that makes me happiest is simply hanging out at a free local beach and eating a five euro pizza!

  • Before your next trip, pick up a few basic phrases in the destination's language. The impact it can have on the locals is amazing!
