Athy’s passion for exploration was ignited during her childhood as her family took numerous trips to Europe. From watching the sunsets on an African safari to swimming in the clear blue Mediterranean waters of Corfu, these formative experiences shaped her desire to continuously seek out new adventures throughout her life. Today, as a travel advisor, Athy’s expertise is diverse and encompasses a wide range of destinations.

When Athy travels, she immerses herself in the local culture, taking the time to learn about local history, savor traditional cuisine, and embrace the unique experiences each destination offers. Her experiential approach to travel gains her–and in turn, her clients–insight into each location she sends her  travelers. Additionally, as a mother of three children, Athy understands the importance of meticulous planning and attention to detail. She prides herself in curating experiences that cater to the needs and desires of families of all ages. Knowing first-hand how precious leisure time is, Athy ensures that every aspect of her clients’ trips are flawlessly organized, allowing her clients to relax and fully embrace their chosen destination.

What does your perfect vacation day look like?

My perfect vacation day would start with a leisurely morning coffee and a walk along the beach. From there, my morning would transition into a boat cruise where I could discover enchanting coastlines, uncover secluded coves, and swim along beaches only reachable by boat. As my perfect vacation day comes to an end, I’d imbibe a delightful cocktail while admiring the breathtaking sunset.

Which destinations are you looking forward to visiting? Why?

I can’t wait to explore various regions across Asia! The diverse cultures, stunning landscapes, mouth-watering cuisines, and vibrant cities beckon me to visit Japan, Thailand, and Bali. In Japan, I want to immerse myself in Kyoto’s serene temples and enchanting bamboo groves. Thailand offers culinary adventures in Bangkok and a visit to a Chiang Mai elephant sanctuary. In Bali, I’ll discover beautiful beaches and want to appreciate Balinese culture with the opportunity to partake in traditional spiritual ceremonies. Each destination in Asia has its own unique charm, and I can’t wait for the adventures and discoveries that await me–and my clients.
