Travel has been engrained in Carolyne’s DNA for as long as she can remember.

As a child embarking on adventures with her family–exploring new and foreign cities like Sydney, London, Florence, and San Francisco–Carolyne was enraptured by travelling and everything it embodied. Over two decades and counting later, she’s been a luxury travel advisor who curates extraordinary experiences for her clients that are rooted in the belief that these experiences should spark moments of joy to be remembered for years to come.

She does this by seeking out one-of-a-kind accommodations and adding those extra touches to your holiday–be it a cooking class, the best table at a renowned restaurant, or a private walking tour because she believes it’s these finer details that can help make your trip even more memorable. Carolyne prides herself on truly knowing her clients and delivering impeccable customer service. She’s an advocate for helping clients take the road less travelled, and will do her utmost to help you live like a local, wherever you are wandering in this world.

What inspired you to become a travel advisor?

I backpacked around Europe for two years in my early twenties and loved the nomadic lifestyle. Once I returned home, I constantly had itchy feet and thought about what would satisfy my needs and passions. From there, my dream job of becoming a travel agent fell into place.

Which destinations do you go back to again and again?

The smells, warm hospitality and diverse cultures of Southeast Asia have me coming back time and time again. It is also not too far from Australia and there are some amazing properties such as COMO Shambhala Estate, Six Senses Yao Noi, and more.

Travel Tip

  • Take the time to experience your destination, I always encourage clients to stay a minimum of 3-4 nights in a city or place and in a couple of places rent an apartment so they can live like a local, visiting local produce markets etc.
