With the innate ability to anticipate her clients’ every desire before they can even ask, Chesney takes great care to design travel experiences that create indelible memories for her travelers.
Growing up, Chesney moved all around the United States with her family. Her formative experiences of finding homes in new places ignited a spark to know and see more about the world around her. Over time, the desire to discover the unknown took her on global travels of her own.
For over 15 years, Chesney has been at the forefront of the events industry in her community, with a keen focus on orchestrating lavish weddings throughout the Pacific Northwest. After cultivating a curiosity about travel planning, she got her first taste of travel planning by curating unforgettable honeymoon experiences for newlywed couples, leading to her eventual career change to becoming a SmartFlyer travel advisor.
Chesney’s first step in travel planning is boots-on-the-ground research. She believes it is integral in providing her clients with the best recommendations and allows her to anticipate their needs for seamless planning. When Chesney is not globe-trotting in search of the finest destinations for her clients, her favorite pastime is spending time with her husband and two daughters, preferably dancing in the flower fields that are abundant around their home in the state of Washington.
As a busy professional juggling the responsibilities of both work and motherhood, my ideal vacation day is the pursuit of finding time to unwind and relax. For me, that looks like a white sand beach where I bask in the warm sun–a luxury I don’t always have access to at home in Washington. Ever since I was little, I remember always feeling at ease in the salty air, which remains true to this day. It’s my ‘happy place’ to find respite and rejuvenation.
Above all, I am planning a trip to somewhere in northern or eastern Africa to explore its wild landscapes and vibrant cultural traditions. The continent is brimming with a bounty of splendor from camping in the deserts of Morocco, standing in awe of man-made marvels in Egypt, or perhaps taking in the magnificent Great Migration in the Serengeti.
Keep up with the places that deserve more than a bookmark, but a check-in.
