Based in Monterrey, Mexico, Claudia specializes in tailor-made journeys for couples, families, and multigenerational travelers. Prior to becoming an advisor, she was a financial planner, and it was during this time that Claudia booked her honeymoon with Andrea Lomelí, Director at SmartFlyer Latin America. After years of sending referrals her way and continuing to partner on trips, Andrea ultimately encouraged Claudia to turn that passion into a profession.
Claudia began her foray into travel planning by helping friends plan honeymoons, quickly discovering that travel advising combined her interests in building relationships and creating meaningful experiences. She recognizes that transformative travel happens when people disconnect from routine and reconnect with nature, culture, and each other. As a mother of two, she offers firsthand insight into family travel and understands the importance of creating journeys that are equally seamless and enriching for travelers of all ages. Claudia’s own travel style combines authentic experiences, exceptional service, and meaningful moments—it’s this trifecta she looks to create with each itinerary she designs.
Without a doubt, my most memorable travel experiences have been on safari in East Africa. There is something incredibly special about being completely immersed in nature, disconnected from daily life, and witnessing wildlife in its natural habitat. Watching the Great Migration in Kenya and Tanzania, spending evenings around the campfire under the stars, and sharing those moments with loved ones has completely changed the way I view travel. Safari is the perfect combination of adventure, luxury, and meaningful connection, which is why Africa remains my favorite destination and one I am always excited to share with my clients.
I am a planner by nature, so before every trip, I love researching destinations, hotels, restaurants, and experiences in detail. But no matter how much I prepare, I always leave space for unexpected discoveries along the way.
