What has been your most memorable travel experience to date?

It’s hard to pick just one favorite experience, but one that really stands out was a day I spent in Simonstown, South Africa. I got to walk right alongside penguins on the beach, which felt so surreal, and later, I spent the afternoon grape stomping at this charming little vineyard—it was such a fun way to dive into the local culture.

Another unforgettable experience was exploring the Galápagos Islands. I literally followed in Charles Darwin’s footsteps, surrounded by marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, and these incredible red-sand beaches. The whole thing felt like stepping into a nature documentary.

Which destinations or hotels do you go back to again and again? Why?

Spain is our family’s go-to happy place. We love it for the amazing food and how easy it is to explore its different regions with quick road trips. Whether it’s the stunning rock formations along the Cantabrian Coast, Gaudí’s incredible architecture in Catalonia, or the vineyards in La Rioja, every trip brings something new and unforgettable. There’s always a historic site or hidden gem waiting to be discovered, making each adventure feel like its own special experience.

Travel Tip

  • When planning your trip, it is essential to consider ways to enhance the overall travel experience, beyond just focusing on your destination. For instance, assess whether you have TSA PreCheck, identify any available airport lounges, and evaluate whether obtaining Global Entry would be beneficial in expediting your re-entry into the United States.
