Gabriela Ramirez Monterrey 2 Years of Experience Specialties Africa, Family Travel, Honeymoons

Rooted in a travel ethos shaped by perspective and presence, clients come to Gabriela for trips that go beyond checking off a new place—instead, she crafts trips where they can truly connect.

Traveling reminds Gabriela that everyone is part of a world far bigger than the individual lives we lead. Uncovering the different cultures, landscapes, histories, and ways of life around the globe is at the heart of her work as a travel advisor. Exploration has always been integral to Gabriela’s life, even before her career path began intersecting with travel. Long before working in the industry, Gabriela was always the person friends and family would turn to for recommendations, itineraries, restaurant suggestions, and destination advice. Her lived experience, passion for details, and appreciation for how the small moments create the more impactful memories have long made her an invaluable resource.

Gabriela genuinely enjoys researching destinations and discovering their hidden gems—she’s deeply rewarded by the opportunity to help others make the most of their travels. She approaches every trip as a curator rather than simply a planner. Every itinerary is thoughtfully designed around their personal interests, travel style, and what inspires travelers most.

What does your perfect vacation day look like?

My perfect vacation day starts with enjoying the hotel amenities, especially a great spa and a long breakfast included with the stay. After that, I love finding a local café nearby before heading into a different kind of experience, usually something adventurous or outdoors. For lunch, I always enjoy a well-recommended restaurant, preferably with a beautiful view. Later in the day, I like doing something local and immersive, such as a cooking class or a cultural experience that connects me with the destination. To end the day, my ideal evening includes a multi-course dinner in a special setting—maybe around a bonfire, by the beach, or somewhere intimate and atmospheric. In cities, I love discovering great wine bars to finish the night.

What has been your most memorable travel experience to date?

Every destination has left a different impression on me in its own way, and I’m sure new places will still do it. One of my earliest travel memories was being ten years old in Whistler, looking out over endless pine forests from the mountains—it was the first time I truly felt the scale and beauty of nature. Patagonia was another unforgettable experience, one that made me realize how small we are compared to the vastness of the world and nature itself. Africa deeply moved me as well; being there feels like connecting with the roots of history, wildlife, and humanity in such a powerful way. Japan left a completely different impact on me. It is one of the few places where culture feels fully immersive in every detail—from hospitality and design to daily rituals and food. Each place has shaped the way I see travel: not only as visiting destinations, but as experiencing perspective, emotion, and connection.

Travel Tip

  • I always say to take “memory photographs," moments you intentionally pause to fully absorb, because those are often the memories that stay with you the longest.
