What has been your most memorable travel experience to date?

My most memorable travel experience to date was a family trip to the Galapagos Islands. Spending eight days on a private yacht with my parents, husband, siblings, and our children was nothing short of spectacular. We were enchanted by the beauty and unspoiled nature of the islands, with each day offering a new adventure. Swimming and snorkeling up close to sea lions and sea turtles, hiking on volcanoes, and experiencing the incredible flora that these primitive islands offers were breathtaking.

Which destinations or hotels do you go back to again and again? Why?

I go to Italy as often as possible! Each time I return, I find a new favorite restaurant or cafe that I find myself recommending to friends, colleagues, and clients alike. There are so many places to travel within Italy that  I could easily spend a month and already be planning my next trip before I have departed. Florence is my absolute go-to city — it offers art, history, and a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe. Its proximity to the Tuscan countryside and wineries—as well as the coastline and beaches—puts this beautiful city on my top recommended list. With museums, shopping, and spectacular food, Florence is undeniably my favorite destination not only in Italy but in all of Europe.

Travel Tip

  • Enjoy every minute and absorb all the destination has to offer. Leave a day "at leisure" and ask the concierge where they would go on a day off or their favorite restaurant to dine at; be a local in a foreign city.
