Josh blends his passion for beautiful destinations, rich cultures, and exceptional food with meticulous attention to detail for his clients’ itineraries.
Josh’s love for travel took off when he studied abroad in London at 20, using it as a jumping-off point to explore Europe—though he might’ve spent more time planning weekend trips than studying. It worked out, as he found “inspiration” for his film degree along the way. Since then, he’s learned that the best trips aren’t just about snapping photos in front of landmarks but about truly immersing yourself in the culture, food, and experiences that make each destination indelible.
Before becoming a travel advisor, Josh honed his organizational skills in the fast-paced world of video post-production, where deadlines were tight, coffee consumption was high, and attention to detail was everything. He also teaches photography, which has become a tool for showcasing the beauty of the places he sends his clients to.
As an advisor, Josh goes beyond everyday itineraries to tailor trips that perfectly match each client’s unique tastes and goals. By staying on top of the latest travel trends, hidden gems, and constantly networking with industry experts, he ensures his clients experience the best each destination has to offer. Whether it’s a luxurious multi-generational family vacation or a laid-back escape, Josh’s experience guarantees seamless planning from start to finish, with every detail taken into account so his clients can focus on enjoying the trip, not managing the logistics.
My most memorable travel experience has to be my trip to Thailand. The culture was a whirlwind compared to the U.S. and Europe—chaotic streets, breathtaking beaches, and street food that was truly extraordinary. A standout moment was a boat tour to a floating fishing village, which felt like stepping into a different world. Having a friend living in Bangkok taught me the priceless value of learning from locals. Starting the trip with a cold was also a stark reminder that adventure often comes with surprises. Overall, this journey showed me that the best travel experiences come from embracing the unknown and reveling in the vibrant quirks of new cultures—even if it means dealing with a few unexpected twists along the way.
My travel bucket list is ever evolving, with popular destinations like the Italian Lake District, off-the-beaten-path cities in Croatia, and adventurous spots like Bosnia always on my radar. However, right now, Japan is at the top of my list. As someone who loves photography and exploring new cuisines, I’m especially drawn to the idea of capturing neon-lit streets, discovering hidden ramen and yakitori spots in cozy back alleys, and immersing myself in the vibrant street life. Japan’s unique blend of modernity and tradition offers endless opportunities for incredible photography and culinary experiences, making it an irresistible next stop on my travel journey.
