What’s your strategy to overcome jet lag?

I do my best to find longhaul flights that depart in the evening, so that I feel rested when I land no matter where I am in the world! What has worked well for me consistently is to push through the first full day and try to get plenty of sunlight to adjust as soon as possible to the local time-zone. One of my current favorite jetlag weapons is intermittent fasting to help my body clock adjust faster. And if I can fly on a Boeing 787, Airbus A380, or A350, that’s a big bonus and cuts down on the altitude effects, especially on really long flights!

What does your perfect vacation day look like?

My perfect vacation day would be a very lazy morning with a dip in some body of water or plunge pool, followed by a bucket-list activity – something I haven’t experienced before, then a long, delicious lunch and afternoon filled with a little cultural infusion and local flavor for wherever I am!
