Laine has been an avid world traveler from a young age.

Big cities, culture, food, and diversity have always made her passion for travel shine a little brighter. Laine grew up in the hospitality industry, working for her father’s catering company throughout high school and college. Partnering with her brother in the NYC Restaurant Industry and basically being a “de facto” travel agent for herself, friends, and family who love luxury experiences, Laine made the natural progression to the travel business in 2012. For the past 12 years, Laine has been crafting personalized itineraries and experiences that cannot be replicated or forgotten. Laine’s goal with every client is to fully understand their travel passions and create memories of a lifetime. Her true loves are her two sons, Lucas and Tate. And when she is not globetrotting herself, Laine is running marathons!

What has been your most memorable travel experience to date?

My most memorable trip was with Rascal Voyages through the islands of Indonesia’s Raja Ampat. I had been to Asia before, but this was very different from any other previous trip to Asia. It took approximately twenty-five hours of travel from New York City to reach our destination; being that far away at sea was a whole new level of being disconnected from everyone. That was the first time I ever felt like a world away, especially since having kids. It was pure barefoot luxury – literally once we boarded the vessel we lived barefoot. Also, we were able to dive and snorkel twice a day, in the most beautiful place amongst protected coral reefs. It was definitely a bucket-list trip and I learned a lot about myself while disconnected in a land unknown to me. I’ll always be grateful for the experience.

How do you prepare for your trips?

I like to build my personal travel in the same manner in which I plan for clients: tending to both the bigger picture and the finer details to make travel seamless. Hotels, air, VIP meet & greet, transfers, dining, tours and experiences, spa, and an itinerary accessible by a smartphone! And I always get travel insurance – to protect myself and my investment. As a foodie, researching restaurants and bars is a must. I personally love exploring the newest restaurants while also revisiting some of the old – like my favorite, La Gelsomina in Anacapri. Authenticity, a sense of place, delicious food and drink – all part of making a travel experience next level!

  • Travel in whatever way is most comfortable to YOU… and whenever in St. Barth, go beyond the beach club scene and explore the untouched beaches – they are magnificent!
