Larry’s clients become part of his extended family and are treated as such!

Larry has been passionate about travel from the time he first boarded a plane bound for Miami, at the tender age of one. As a child growing up in New York, he continually requested that his parents drive down the old and elevated West Side Highway in Manhattan, just so he could marvel at the classic, iconic Ocean Liners such as the original RMS Queen Elizabeth, RMS Queen Mary, SS France, SS Rotterdam, and SS United States. Those drives past the piers of Manhattan were the beginnings of his love and encyclopedic knowledge of ships and every detail related to cruising.

He has worked with major airlines, ground transportation companies, and hotels. For over two decades, Larry was a prominent international concert and event producer. As such, he worked with hundreds of celebrities and their entourages in planning, organizing, and booking their travel. Whether finding that perfect cruise or hotel accommodations to match his client’s desires, or designing an exceptional, destination-based ground touring program, Larry excels at fulfilling even the most demanding client’s wishes and needs.

Having traveled extensively and frequently to all corners of the world, Larry has explored 71+ countries and territories and has sailed on countless cruises, mostly in the luxury and premium categories. He brings his unique perspective on luxury travel to SmartFlyer. His attention to detail further ensures his clients of an incredible, memorable, and curated travel experience, enhanced with special VIP touches, perks, and amenities from start to finish.

What inspired you to become a travel agent?

Travel has always been my passion! I’ve traveled extensively, both domestically and internationally since I was a teenager. Having been to 45 states, 71 countries and counting, I love sharing my knowledge of the world with my clients.

Which destinations and hotels do you go back to again and again? Why?

While I meticulously plan air and land based travel, I’ve found that luxury cruises can be a wonderful way to travel. You unpack once and almost everything you’d normally pay extra for are included, such as: tips, drinks, exquisite meals, shore excursions, entertainment, etc. On cruises you even have your own butler! On three cruises, you can visit more countries than most people travel to in a lifetime!

Travel Tip

  • When flying, always pack a change of clothes, essential travel size toiletries, and medications in your carry-on bag. Additionally, always make sure the expiration date on your passport is at least 6 months past the last day of your trip.
