Experience2 Years

Whether it’s a family trip, a girls’ weekend getaway, or the safari of a lifetime, Mary’s clients seek her planning services to strike a balance of activities paired with ample time for relaxation in a luxurious setting.

Prior to her career in travel, Mary received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder (where yes, she also skied quite a bit!) before obtaining a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from New York University. During her subsequent sixteen years working in Public Relations and Marketing, she refined her attention-to-detail and precise research skills while working with CEOs and top tier media outlets. Mary leverages this expertise today, using her creativity to guide clients in creating one-of-a-kind travel experiences.

Through her affiliation with SmartFlyer, Mary has preferred partnerships with the world’s finest hotels and resorts. Her alliance allows her to not only negotiate the best rates for her clients but also provide amenities that simply aren’t available via any travel website, rewards program, or credit card membership. Beyond perks, vacations planned by Mary often include unique culinary components and adventurous activities; her clients can add on a family croissant making class in Paris, or a Formula 1 racing behind-the-scenes tour in Monza, Italy.

What is your most memorable travel experience?

Several adventures come to mind! My love of travel started as a child with family ski trips out west – Snowmass, Vail, and Deer Valley were some favorites. Then, when I turned twenty, I spent a month in Kenya and Tanzania going on safari and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro; it was magical! As a mother, memories of going to Walt Disney World® Resort stand out because not only was it incredibly fun for the kids but for us grown-ups too! Not to mention, our stay at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World® Resort was the cherry on top.

How do you prepare for your trips?

I always buy a new fragrance. Sometimes I buy it before or purchase while traveling. I wear it throughout the trip and after it forever brings back memories from that time in my life. The good thing about a fragrance is that it’s a souvenir you will actually use again and again.

Designate a set of “plane clothes” - wear the same outfit on the outbound flight and the flight coming home.
