The feeling of reward upon creating unforgettable experiences that her clients cherish forever drives Nagisa on a daily basis.

Raised in a multicultural home in Melbourne, Nagisa was fascinated by exploration and discovery from a young age. As a child, she looked forward to her annual travels abroad to spend time with extended family, immersing herself in new places and cultures, always noting the differences in the food, language, and customs. It was through these formative experiences that Nagisa realized a career in travel was the only path for her. She started working as a travel agent in 2016 and hasn’t looked back since.

Nagisa’s early success as an agent allowed her to launch her own business in 2019, Seek & Hyde Travel. Her meticulous eye for detail, strong professional relationships, and approachable demeanor have made her one of Melbourne’s most sought-after travel agents in years since. Her approach is always client-first. Nagisa’s warmth combined with her practical, no-nonsense attitude, allows her to make her clients’ holiday dreams come to life.  She specializes in creating bespoke travel experiences and highly personalized services and her clients rave about hassle-free travel after working with her. Having managed large-scale offsite corporate trips, Nagisa’s expertise also lends itself to managing corporate bookings and long-term stays.

Which destinations do you go back to again and again?

I return again and again to Japan. There is something about its kind people, the variety of scrumptious food, and of course the vibrant, nuanced culture. Being half Japanese, I always feel at home there, but also find there is something new to experience every time I go back.

What does your perfect vacation day look like?

Starting the day with a lavish breakfast (of course, trying everything on the menu) and then going for some sun and a snorkel. Swimming with tropical fish first thing in the morning is such a special experience, I encourage everyone to try it at least once. Then, end my day with a visit to the spa–I always opt for a Balinese massage if it’s offered by the spa!

Travel Tip

  • Walk as much as possible and get to know the city you’re in. Go to markets, taste new foods, talk to locals, people watch… immerse yourself. You will never be in the same place in that moment of time ever again, so soak it up!
