Nicolette’s wanderlust amplified after meeting her husband on an airplane, where they made a list of the places they would go together. Originally from New York and now based in Chicago, she has traveled with friends and family across the globe by way of luxury cruise experiences and incredible multi-country adventures. With a background in consulting and human resources, Nicolette is inherently tapped into understanding how to exceed expectations. Having worked at Goldman Sachs, Hewitt Associates, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, she is all too familiar with high-pressure work environments and knows how critical it is to take time away to rejuvenate the soul.

When Nicolette considered a new career path, she was drawn to focus on that which has made her life the most full: travel! As a travel advisor, Nicolette combines her client-focused approach with her zeal for exploration to create magnificent soul-stirring encounters for her clients. Whether they are seeking relaxation, a family adventure, or a seaside journey, she will ensure that all their desires are made real. Which destinations or hotels do you go back to again and again? Why?

Italy, Italy, Italy! The first time I visited was on my honeymoon, spending time in several destinations including Florence, Rome, and Positano. Quite simply, I fell in love with the culture, the people, the history, and of course, the food! Italy embodies what family and romance are all about, and I’m continually enamored by its charms.

I’m looking forward to an upcoming trip where my family will be joining me as I share my love of Italy with them and ignite their interest in seeing the world. Italy has something for everyone, whether it’s sitting at a sexy bar with a talented mixologist overlooking the Mediterranean, touring the best gelato spots on Vespas, or shopping for the finest Italian couture. I know this won’t be our last visit because there is so much more to see, taste, and love in Italy!

What has been your most memorable travel experience to date?

Choosing one travel experience to be the most memorable is an impossible question! Every trip throughout my life has made an indelible mark. Whether it is a memory of a site visited, an otherworldly meal, a feeling I experienced, or the people with whom I traveled, all these moments illicit real emotions that stick with me. These emotions can be relived with the memory of a journey.

Travel experiences that have caused me to double over with laughter with a dear friend or an encounter of beauty that has brought me to tears, all have a special place in my heart. Each of us has differing desires when it comes to travel, but whatever you are seeking can be fulfilled with careful planning and the desire to go! But, for the sake of answering the question, I will name some of my most memorable destinations: Alaska, Amsterdam, Brazil, Italy, Greece, and Anguilla. Each of these places lives in my heart and makes me smile. Isn’t that what it’s all about?
