Having lived in Europe for many years, Russell draws on a deeply international perspective, an eye for interior design, and a love for the outdoors to ensure every room placement, private guide, and local recommendation feels intentional.
Russell’s path to travel advising began in hotel real estate finance in New York City, where evaluating top-tier properties gave him a rare, behind-the-curtain understanding of world-class hospitality operations. Driven by a lifelong passion for international travel, Russell combines an intuitive sense of style with unparalleled attention to detail and leverages his hospitality background to design one-of-a-kind trips for the discerning traveler. He approaches every trip with the belief that the best experiences are created when you follow your intuition. He gets to know his client so well that he anticipates the subtle details and unspoken preferences they haven’t even thought to express yet. Russell believes that designing exceptional travel is deeply personal; it is about combining insider access, trusted global partnerships, and seamless execution to deliver an effortless, unforgettable experience.
Whether it be a private ski-in/ski-out alpine chalet in the Alps, a secluded coastal escape along the Mediterranean, an active Colorado adventure, or simply a last-minute weekend getaway to a favorite boutique hideaway, he takes the time to get to know your personal style so he can curate a one-of-a-kind trip. When he’s not traveling the globe scouting new destinations, he splits his time between Aspen, Colorado, and Greensboro, North Carolina.
Out of all my travels, taking a helicopter transfer from Zermatt to Milan is unforgettable. Watching morning clouds pull back as our pilot banked directly alongside the Matterhorn was breathtaking—you felt close enough to touch the peak. Descending across the Swiss-Italian border toward Lombardy was an incredible experience, watching the rugged alpine crags give way to the rolling hills and lakes of Northern Italy.
Hotel San Cristóbal in Todos Santos. Tucked away on the coast of Baja, it strikes that rare, perfect balance between design-forward hospitality and complete, unpretentious calm. Whether it’s watching the local fishermen bring in the catch of the day on the beach, sipping a mezcal cocktail by the pool at sunset, or just soaking in the desert-meets-ocean backdrop, it’s the one place that instantly slows down time and sparks pure joy.
