What is your most memorable travel experience?

I would have to choose three! The first would be our magical private beachfront engagement dinner on the island of Nevis; the combination of the sparkling sea and the backdrop of the Nevis Peak was truly spectacular. Tiki torches and flowers surrounded us as we listened to the crashing ocean waves. The second would be our trip to South Africa. Cape Town’s beauty and the ultra-luxurious Ellerman House captivated us, as well as the amazing adventures at Phinda Private Game Reserve. Lastly, I’ll never forget the joy of watching my brave children cliff jumping at Sarakiniko beach on the beautiful Greek island of Milos.

Which destination do you go back to again and again? Why?

I cannot stay away from Italy. I love exploring all the varied and beautiful natural landscapes. There are dreamy beaches, picturesque lakes, majestic mountains, and thermal spas all ready to explore, as well as famous ancient architecture and ruins. And we can’t forget the simply superb food and wine!

Travel Tip

  • To avoid overpacking, try to bring the smallest suitcase possible, especially if your itinerary involves moving to multiple destinations such as trips to the Greek Islands where suitcases are often moving on and off ferries.
