With a passion for thoughtful details and meaningful experiences, Ximena designs highly personalized journeys that reflect each client’s unique tastes.
Ximena’s passion for travel was planted long before it became her career. Having traveled from a young age, she developed a natural curiosity for the sense of discovery that comes from visiting a new place. The restaurant where all the produce is sourced locally and the chef comes out to greet you after the meal. The boat day that takes you away from the crowds and to a hidden cove. The store where each item is so lovingly handcrafted, you know it will be a treasured item long after your tan fades. Among her friends, she was always the one organizing the trips, researching where to stay, making reservations, organizing the itinerary, and making sure every detail was taken care of—so it was a natural transition into her career in travel.
Based in Monterrey, Mexico, Ximena now channels that love of planning and discovery into highly personalized travel for her discerning clients. She believes the best trips come from truly understanding each client’s personality and preferences. When she knows what sparks joy for them, she works to organically replicate that on each adventure, whether it’s a multi-generational family trip or an intimate honeymoon. Her approach is personal and detail-oriented, from choosing the right hotel to recommending restaurants and tours that genuinely reflect the travelers with whom she’s helping to create memorable travels.
Antarctica is at the top of my travel list. I love adventure and discovering destinations that feel completely different, and Antarctica seems like one of the most unique places in the world. Seeing the glaciers, wildlife, and incredible landscapes in person would be an unforgettable experience. I’m especially drawn to the adventurous side of the trip, exploring by Zodiac, seeing wildlife in its natural environment, and reaching such a remote part of the world. I love trips that combine adventure with beautiful scenery and unique experiences. As a travel advisor, I also think experiencing Antarctica firsthand would help me better recommend it to my clients. I love sharing places from personal experience and understanding the details that make a trip special. For me, Antarctica would be the perfect combination of adventure, discovery, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
I’m definitely a planner when it comes to travel. I love researching each destination and finding local spots, from restaurants and cafés to neighborhoods and unique experiences. Food is a big part of how I travel, so before every trip I create a list of restaurants I want to try and organize them by neighborhood or area. Then, I usually choose and reserve one restaurant from my list each day based on the area I’ll be exploring, which helps me plan the rest of the day and make the most of my time without going back and forth across the city. I’m very organized and detail-oriented, so I like to plan the important things in advance while still leaving room to explore and be spontaneous. For me, the perfect trip is well organized but never feels overly scheduled, letting me experience each destination in a more local, authentic way.
Keep up with the places that deserve more than a bookmark, but a check-in.
