Fried Chicken and jazzy late-night swing dancing is what this Insider has on her list of must-do’s!  Kate & Company’s own fabulous wedding planner, Kate Turner takes SmartFlyer’s Betsey Brown to her favorite spots in St. Louis, Missouri.

Starting with where to get those staple closet items and where to catch a good bite after your shopping is done. And what kind of party planning insider would she be if there weren’t recommendations for all the best places for drinking and dancing?   *Note, roof-tops certainly are a key element for a good time in this city – not to mention she also knows the best hotel party spots, and has made sure you know them too!

As a long time admirer of fabulous weddings and lively parties, Kate Turner (née Fogerty), armed with dual degrees from Saint Louis University, took her admiration and developed three thriving, local business.  She is the creative soul behind Kate & Company, a Saint Louis based national event design firm, and 23 City Blocks Catering, the management firm for The Caramel Room at Bissinger’s and Lumen Private Event Space. With a passion for creating gorgeous events and a love for fine stationery, Turner believes the best designs marry over the top trends with finite details. Kate’s work has been featured in both local and national publications, she is a local philanthropist, and has been named one of Saint Louis’ most Influential multiple times. When she’s not working on the perfect details of someone’s special day, you can find Kate Turner traveling the world, on Betsey Browns incredible recommendations, with her husband Adam or snuggling with her two golden retrievers, Louis and Carlton.
