The hotel's restaurant was inspired by one of William Drabble's favorite historical chefs, Charles Elme Francatelli, who in the early 1800s was "Chief Chef of St. James' Club." Francatelli was a celebrity chef of his day, who left St. James Club to be Queen Victoria's chief chef, and authored a cookbook, "The Modern Cook," in 1846 that inspired the menu of Francatelli's at St. James Hotel & Club in 2024. The menu is rooted in simplicity and British produce, punctuated with some show-stopping dishes. Seven Park Place Bar & Lounge, a haven in the vibrant heart of London, offers signature drinks, from refreshing punches and expertly crafted cocktails, to a diverse selection of wines and spirits.
