Property Overview

Drawing its name from the Sanskrit word for ‘peace’ and ‘zoe’, the Greek word for ‘life’, Amanzoe is situated on a hilltop close to the quaint town of Porto Heli on the east coast of the Peloponnese. The resort offers almost 360º panoramic Mediterranean views as well as a private Beach Club in a picturesque bay. The thirty-eight-pavilions resort, including Aman Spa, four Beach Cabanas for overnight stay close to the sea and in total ten villas from one to nine-bedroom, comprise Aman's fourth Mediterranean retreat, Amanzoe– the Greek complement to Montenegro’s Aman Sveti Stefan, Turkey’s Amanruya and Italy’s Aman Venice.

Agent Tips

The drive from Athens is absolutely gorgeous. We wove though olive groves and the mountains of Greece, which was so unexpected!
Spetses is a favorite experiences in Greece. It is twenty-five minutes door-to-door from Amanzoe. We went for the day, walked to town and had a great lunch by the sea. I would suggest bringing a bathing suit and taking a dip in the gorgeous crystal clear water!

Pavilions + Suites

Beach Cabanas right next to the sea.

All rooms have private pools and a large veranda. Interiors have a sleek, very clean design. There are separate their bathrooms, a gorgeous shower with an outdoor feel and a soaking tub that looks out to the pool. The Beach Cabanas located right next to the sea shore offer unique views and ultimate relaxation. The Villas on the other hand surrounded by olive groves and overlooks the Aegean Sea. Two full-time staff members, including a chef and host, look after guests in complete privacy.

The property has a gorgeous, large gym. There are multiple pools, one larger one located at the resort and three others located next to each other at the Beach Club.

Spa

A massage in the couples suite is a truly romantic experience.

The Amanzoe Spa is 2,850 square meters, providing a combination of wellness services including treatments, integrated movement programs, aesthetic therapies and relaxation. For travelers staying with their partner, a massage in the couples suite is a wonderful experience. Special wellness immersion programs will be offered from April to May and from October to November.

Restaurant + Bar

Authentic Greek food alongside Asian cuisine. Both the Mediterranean fare at “Restaurant” and Nama’s Japanese cuisine on property are incredible! Beach BBQ every Tuesday and Asian night every Saturday are not to be missed, and Bostani project with Garden to Table meals offered under the olive tree is a unique and healthy experience. Also, there is a restaurant at the Beach Club that offers Greek cuisine plus some wood oven pizzas. The bar located next to the firepit area has spectacular sea views all around, so watching the sunset from this vantage point is a must!

Who's it for?

We’d put this on the top of list for as a family-friendly spot. Amanzoe is perfect for families because they offer so many activities for travelers of all ages including water sports at the Beach Club, programming at the Kids Club, entertainment in the game room, an interactive visit to the bee farm visit, cooking classes, farm house experience and many more.
