Perched high in the rainforest canopy, Tree Tops sits where fine Asian-fusion cuisine, regional charm, and breathtaking views intersect. Another restaurant called The Boat House is a sand-between-your-toes establishment. The Boat House promises delectable flavors with a side of stunning ocean views. The Jules Verne bar sits at the top of the island’s pinnacle and is an homage to the nineteenth-century author whose fantastical remote islands have captured imaginations for decades. Climb up the spiral staircase and unwind with a meticulously crafted classic or tropical cocktail – each an artwork that showcases fresh garden-to-glass ingredients like lemongrass, chilli, pandan, and pink peppercorns.

Grouper Bar is beside the pool, named after the impressive fish that inhabits the island's lagoons. This whimsical venue serves as Bawah’s social hub. Located steps from the jetty, beach, and infinity pool, Grouper Bar offers a convenient meeting spot for an early-morning coffee, midday nibbles, or pre-dinner drinks. It's a relaxing beach bar by day and late-night lounge by night, the perfect backdrop for a well-crafted espresso, Champagne toasts, or sipping a fine whisky at the end of the day.

    Bawah Reserve is a true private island sanctuary in Indonesia’s remote Anambas Archipelago — a barefoot, all-inclusive escape where nature takes the lead with just thirty-six earth-conscious suites ranging from one-bedroom havens to spacious four-bedroom escapes. Guests are often couples, honeymooners, or small groups seeking privacy, sustainability, and a true off-grid experience. To maintain the island’s serene setting, no children under five years old are allowed at the resort.

    For an ultra private experience, Elang offers six villas with its own clubhouse, saltwater infinity pool, and dedicated butler team — perfect for VIPs, multigenerational families, or small groups (ten to fourteen people). Elang operates as its own island while still being part of the Bawah Reserve experience.

    Bawah Reserve is situated in the Anambas archipelago. This remote Indonesian island enclave in the western part of the South China Sea is closer to Malaysia than it is to the main Indonesian islands of Sumatra and Borneo. The best way to get to Bawah is by the resort's private seaplane. It flies seven days per week from Hang Nadim Airport on the Indonesian island of Batam, which is easily reached from Jakarta or Singapore. Door-to-door from Singapore to Bawah is approximately four hours; the flight time from Batam to Bawah is approximately seventy-five minutes. The earliest pick-up is typically around seven in the morning in Singapore and you will arrive before noon for lunch. Departure from Bawah starts from noon, and you will arrive back in Singapore around four-thirty; same-day departure from Singapore Changi Airport can be arranged after eight-thirty in the evening. (Daily seaplane availability and timings are subject to availability and change.) Round-trip transfers are fully arranged by Bawah covering all segments of transportation, including car journeys, ferry journeys, and the AirFast amphibious seaplane.Halfway between Singapore and Borneo, the archipelago consists of over 200 islands and is home to around 45,000 people. It boasts crystal-clear warm waters, a rich biodiversity of teeming flora and fauna.
