Be sure to walk around the island and soak up a different side of Venice.
The hotel has a great concierge who can whip up a sunset gondola ride in a heartbeat.

A waterside haven.

The rooms are lovely with traditional furnishings, very Venetian in feel with rich fabrics but the soft and light color to balance it all out. There are some rooms with lagoon views although most have views of the gardens, so, be sure to consult with your travel advisor if a canal view is a must-have (highly recommended!).

There is an Olympic size swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after a full day of touring in town. There is pool service with food and, of course, drinks. There is also a tennis court and marina. The intimate spa is world-renowned for the its location in the same gardens where Casanova once wooed his lovers. Guests will fall under their therapist’s spell as expert massage techniques and signature therapies beautify and balance. Or, reserve the ambient twin room to revive with someone special.

Restaurant + Bar

Glorious afternoon teas.

There are two main dining rooms, one of them Oro, with one Michelin star and a terrace restaurant and inner dining room. But, Cip’s Club is truly iconic. With an outdoor deck and location right on the water looking across the Grand Canal to the Doge’s Palace and Venice, it’s hard to imagine a more romantic setting. There's also the Gabbiano Bar near the pool and they make a mean Bellini, as well as Il Porticciolo: an oyster bar and seafood restaurant on the water’s edge.

Who's it for?

Wide open space for families of all sizes.

The hotel has such a romantic feel that you wouldn’t necessarily think of it as family-friendly, but, the pool and the extensive grounds make it appealing to families with kids who need to run around. They also have a Kid's Club, open during the summer months.
